Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide timely, pragmatic legal advice across procurement, supply chain, operations, infrastructure, governance, and strategic projects.
  • •Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements and transactions.
  • •Partner with business stakeholders to identify, assess, and manage legal risk in support of commercial objectives.
  • •Support governance and regulatory compliance activities, including company secretarial and joint venture matters.
  • •Manage external legal advisors to ensure quality outcomes and value for money.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a current Australian practising certificate.
  • •At least 5 years’ post-admission experience in a reputable law firm, corporate legal team, or a combination of both.
  • •Experience operating at legal counsel level in an in-house environment.
  • •Strong experience in commercial contracting, procurement, corporate and commercial law.
  • •Ability to provide pragmatic, risk-based advice and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
