Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic leadership for enterprise payroll operations across multiple payroll schedules, business units, and employee populations.
  • •Create payroll governance, policies, procedures, and controls; establish payroll strategy, objectives, and operational priorities aligned to organizational goals.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and internal audit/regulatory requirements, including year-end payroll processing.
  • •Oversee payroll processing operations and service delivery, ensuring payroll accuracy, timeliness, quality, and monitoring performance via payroll KPIs and metrics.
  • •Lead payroll workforce planning and talent development, coaching and developing payroll leadership and staff, while partnering with HR, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to support enterprise initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 12+ years of payroll experience, including 4 years in leadership and 7 years with SAP Employee Central Payroll; OR Associate degree with 10 years payroll (4 leadership, 7 SAP EC Payroll); OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years payroll (4 leadership, 7 SAP EC Payroll).
  • •7+ years of multi-state payroll experience.
  • •Experience leading enterprise payroll operations in a large, complex organization.
  • •Experience managing payroll vendors and third-party service providers.
  • •Advanced reporting, analytics, and workforce planning experience.
