Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and execute outage activities for reactor vessel disassembly/reassembly and reactor core fuel removal, shuffling, and reload in accordance with Nawah standards and procedures.
  • •Prepare fuel receipt, unloading/storage of fuel shipping casks, fuel handling/inspection/storage, and manage reactor refueling pool and spent fuel pool fuel movements.
  • •Coordinate and communicate with OCC, operations, maintenance, contractors, radiation safety, polar crane operators, and containment specialists to maintain critical-path schedules and nuclear/industrial safety.
  • •Support ALARA plans and implement recovery plans when ALARA goals are challenged or exceeded.
  • •Support ERO as assigned (including shift/off-hours support) and perform Foreign Object Search and Retrieval (FOSAR) for the Fuel Handling Area and Reactor Refueling Pool.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma
  • •2 years of relevant experience
  • •2 years in Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) nuclear power plant experience at an operational site and/or Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor (APR-1400), Open Pool Reactor (OPR)-1000
  • •Experience in Engineering Nuclear Steam Supply System (CE NSSS) design, work management, or outage management, as applicable
  • •Ability to prepare work packages and associated documentation (e.g., Work Order, Job Hazard Analysis, Work Method Statement, Final Report)
