Key Responsibilities

•Lead planning, design, permitting, and construction of water/wastewater conveyance and pumping projects, including new construction, rehabilitation/renewal, and public right-of-way relocation
•Oversee reports, hydraulic models, calculations, drawings, construction plans, and permitting packages; manage construction-phase engineering services
•Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies; develop scope, schedule, and budget; track progress and invoicing
•Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing professional growth opportunities in water/wastewater conveyance
•Direct multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects and secure additional opportunities with clients

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 175,000 - 227,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or related field, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive water/wastewater engineering experience including the planning, design, and construction of municipal water/wastewater conveyance and pumping projects, including new construction in public right-of-way, condition assessment and rehabilitation/renewal, and public right-of-way utility relocation or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Must be a licensed Professional Engineer
•Valid U.S. Driver’s License and must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
•Licensed Professional Engineer in CA or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity within 6 months of employment
•15+ years of progressive water/wastewater engineering experience including planning, design, and construction of municipal conveyance and pumping projects (preferred)
