Job Summary

Operate a haul truck and related heavy equipment at a quarry facility, transporting materials within the site while maintaining safe, efficient operations. Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions, complete daily pre-trip inspections, and follow OSHA/MSHA regulations. Support crushing operations as needed, assist with general labor and equipment maintenance, and maintain professional conduct, timely attendance, and readiness to travel or work nights/weekends when required.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport materials by continually driving the haul truck within the facility and follow directions.
•Operate heavy equipment safely (including haul truck, water truck, dump truck, dredge, track hoe, front end loader, and skid steer).
•Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report problems to the foreperson before beginning work.
•Maintain awareness of OSHA/MSHA regulations and adhere to safety practices and procedures.
•Assist with miscellaneous duties including general labor, shoveling, equipment maintenance, and supporting crusher feeding as required.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED (or equivalent), plus 1–3 months related experience/training; prior heavy equipment experience (including crushing operations) is helpful.
