Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain cleanliness of production areas by disassembling/reassembling equipment as needed and following the Master Cleaning Schedule.
  • •Operate high-pressure and related equipment to clean and sanitize production equipment per specifications, including dry pick-up of inedible material.
  • •Perform equipment checks to confirm areas are properly cleaned and sanitized, and report wear and tear to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • •Communicate sanitation issues/concerns and contamination concerns to direct leads, supervisors, and/or QA.
  • •Complete required paperwork/documentation and maintain cleanliness/organization of sanitation areas, lockers, and chemical rooms.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete the lockout/tagout and chemical training within the first week and complete scissor lift training within the first two weeks.
  • •Perform sanitation tasks using hazardous chemicals and high-pressure equipment while following safety and quality processes and department standards.
  • •Read and understand sanitation SOPs/manuals and be able to read and write to complete required documentation.
  • •Be able to safety operate a scissor lift, hand jack, and other industrial equipment.
  • •Have 3 months manufacturing work experience and 6 months' work history within the last 12 months to be considered.
