Job Summary

Provide L1 networking managed services to keep client IT infrastructure operational. Monitor environments, investigate and resolve technical incidents and problems using approved procedures, ITSM tickets, and knowledge articles. Execute maintenance such as patching and configuration changes, support shift handovers, and escalate issues when needed. Identify optimization opportunities (automation, improved incident resolution and request fulfillment processes) and occasionally support project work and disaster recovery testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide L1 managed services by monitoring client infrastructure and identifying errors as they occur.
•Proactively investigate, resolve, and document technical incidents and problems using approved procedures and ITSM workflows.
•Handle first-line incidents and request fulfillment via telephonic support, ITSM tickets, and chat support.
•Perform maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes, and ensure smooth shift handovers.
•Update knowledge and share insights; identify optimization opportunities and escalate when necessary, occasionally supporting project work and disaster recovery testing.

Key Requirements

•Basic understanding of networking and security technologies including Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr/ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, and Meraki switches.
•Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
•Discipline in handling tickets day to day, acting promptly according to defined SOPs and resolving using knowledge articles.
•Good understanding of ITSM tools and ITSM processes for incident handling and request fulfillment.
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience.
