Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake feasibility studies and develop concepts through detailed design, specifications, and tender preparation to required standards.
  • •Develop energy strategies incorporating renewable technologies and low-energy designs to satisfy local authority planning requirements and compliance with UK requirements.
  • •Undertake technical reviews, peer reviews, checks, and contribute to the design.
  • •Develop positive professional relationships with the WSP UK team and communicate project progress.
  • •Participate in project meetings, manage risk issues per company processes, and complete timesheets ahead of weekly deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience designing building services with a track record in a similar role.
  • •Degree in Electrical Engineering and membership to an accredited engineering body (e.g., MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, ASHRAE).
  • •Electrical technical capability and design experience on UK projects.
  • •Adequate knowledge of healthcare/hospital projects and technical memorandums (HTM’s).
  • •Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience, plus fluent English and a valid passport.
