Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks including cable pulls, cable terminations, rack fabrication and wiring, and equipment layout/metal fabrication.
  • •Coordinate and direct installation crews on less complex projects, reporting progress to the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
  • •Read and interpret project system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints.
  • •Use hand/power tools to solder and crimp connectors and test point-to-point cabling and system functionality.
  • •Serve as customer liaison on site, communicate daily jobsite status, and coordinate with other trades; manage and secure jobsite equipment and tools; travel to job sites required.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Intermediate understanding of audiovisual systems (projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, video conferencing, digital signage, control systems).
  • •Proficiency installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) and wiring methods like conduit runs and cable trays.
  • •Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record meeting AVI-SPL driving privileges standards.
