Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary off-shift engineering decision-maker for development activities, including dispositioning wafers and releasing or holding tools.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process and equipment issues, resolve output constraints, and support experimental processing.
  • •Use SPC, E3 fault detection, and data analytics to investigate excursions, identify root causes, and improve process performance, defect reduction, and yield.
  • •Maintain accurate documentation (reaction plans, recipes, process procedures) and ensure effective cross-shift communication, change control, and escalation.
  • •Lead or participate in continuous improvement efforts such as development projects, PMI data collection, audits, benchmarking, and implementation of best-known methods.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering field, or a Bachelor's degree with proven semiconductor manufacturing or process development experience.
  • •Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • •Solid understanding of Wet Process, CMP, or Bond semiconductor manufacturing plus process control methodologies and engineering problem-solving.
  • •Understanding of SPC, DOE, E3 fault detection, and data-driven decision-making methodologies.
  • •Solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and strong analytical/troubleshooting skills.
