Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage comprehensive bid and programme project plans aligned with Boeing strategy and MoD standards, ensuring delivery to time, cost, quality, and SLAs.
  • •Oversee technical project phases from inception through completion, leading cross-functional execution and ensuring robust operating and reporting rhythms using Boeing PMBP and industry standards.
  • •Act as primary technical contact for senior management, project teams, MoD representatives, and defence partners; communicate status, risks, and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Lead and mentor assigned technical and functional staff, delegate tasks, manage dependencies/critical paths, and run meetings from kick-off to close-out.
  • •Lead bid documentation and support governance first-time quality, including gate reviews, requirement/objective establishment, and change and risk/issue management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • •Significant experience in technical project management, preferably in defence or defence-related information systems projects.
  • •Proficiency managing IS projects in the defence sector, including Agile project management tools (JIRA, Rally, SPM).
  • •Expertise with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • •Eligible for UK security clearance at the appropriate level for MoD IS projects.
