Key Responsibilities

  • •Own import and export activities across NAM, Middle East, and APAC to ensure shipments comply with customs regulations and trade controls.
  • •Prepare, review, validate, and maintain customs documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions.
  • •Determine and validate HTS/HS classifications, country of origin, Incoterms, customs valuation, and collaborate on export-control considerations as needed.
  • •Manage international shipments end-to-end for high-value hardware and technology, coordinating clearance and final delivery to deployment sites.
  • •Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customs brokers and freight forwarders; drive visibility, exception resolution, and maintain audit-ready compliance records.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years hands-on experience in international logistics, global transportation, import/export operations, trade compliance, customs, or a related supply chain function.
  • •Strong working knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance, HTS/HS classification, country of origin, Incoterms, customs valuation, and international shipping documentation.
  • •Independently manage international shipments end-to-end across multiple regions (North America, Middle East, and/or APAC preferred).
  • •Demonstrated experience managing customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers, resolving customs exceptions and shipment issues.
  • •Experience with ERP/TMS or logistics platforms (NetSuite or SAP a plus), with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
