Job Summary

Provide fleet technical management and continuing airworthiness support for Emirates’ cabin technical and reconfigurations portfolio. Evaluate manufacturers and regulatory technical documents, update engineering orders and workcards, and review in-service data to improve reliability and maintainability. Act as a technical liaison to address faults, defects, and design issues, support new aircraft acquisition and end-of-lease activities, and deliver technical assistance during disruptions and AOG events. Support KPIs and major modification project work, including cabin reconfigurations and phase-outs.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management, and technical support for assigned cabin-related section areas (e.g., Airframe, Structures, Avionics, PowerPlant, Cabin Interior).
•Evaluate technical documents from manufacturers and regulatory authorities, take appropriate actions, and update internal engineering documents (Engineering Order, Special Engineering Workcard).
•Review in-service data (Tech log, Pilot Reports, Defects) and implement actions to improve fleet, engine, component, and/or system reliability and maintainability.
•Serve as a technical liaison with aircraft/engine/component manufacturers and internal stakeholders to address significant faults, defects, design issues, and quality escapements.
•Perform project management for major modifications, retrofits, cabin reconfigurations, and aircraft phaseout requirements, including cost-benefit studies and recommendations.

Key Requirements

•Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence for 5 years.
•At least 7 years of engineering experience in aeronautical engineering.
•Minimum 5 years in a Technical Services function, including at least 3 years covering Emirates fleet type/aircraft systems.
•Knowledge of the latest technical developments and industry trends for relevant aircraft systems.
•Excellent drafting/report writing skills and the ability to analyse and synthesize technical information for cost-effective implementation.
