Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and process export license applications for dual-use, military items, and sanctions with national authorities.
  • •Ensure timely renewals and accurate reporting for granted licenses and maintain the centralized license records database.
  • •Support export classification and validation for products (hardware, software, technology) under EU and international/national control lists.
  • •Conduct restricted party screening against global sanctions lists and manage subsequent escalations.
  • •Advise internal teams on export control requirements and review contracts, quotations, and shipping documentation; develop and deliver export control training.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 2 years of professional experience in Export Control or Trade Compliance, preferably in industrial, defense, aerospace, or high-tech sectors.
  • •Knowledge of EU Dual-Use Regulation and French national regulations/procedures (e.g., SBDU, DGA).
  • •Knowledge of US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and ITAR is a significant advantage.
  • •Ability to interpret complex legal texts and apply them practically to commercial operations.
  • •Fluent professional proficiency in both French and English (written and verbal).
