Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Own the design, architecture, testing, and go-live technical aspects to ensure web, media, and security solutions.
•Act as a proactive technical consultant and trusted advisor for customers, delivering value with every engagement.
•Analyze customer traffic and implement Akamai security/delivery/compute solutions to address needs.
•Deliver coaching and training to customers to ensure the value and usability of our products.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues that arise during customer implementations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in web applications, internet fundamentals, DNS, routing, and communication protocols.
•Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and how they relate to internet service compromise or attacks.
•Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, PERL, and JavaScript, and familiarity with the DevOps framework and web development languages.
•Proficiency in one or more web development languages, methodologies, or architectures.
•Exposure to Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
