Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and grow a global data engineering team for eCommerce and Consumer analytics.
  • •Architect and oversee clickstream ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines from web, mobile, and digital touchpoints.
  • •Partner with analytics, data science, ecommerce engineering, and product teams to define reusable data products driving KPIs like engagement, conversion, retention, LTV, and churn.
  • •Drive the roadmap for real-time event-driven and batch processing architectures to enable experimentation and faster decision-making.
  • •Ensure data governance, quality, lineage, and observability; integrate third-party enrichment and identity resolution for a 360° consumer view; advance AI/ML-driven personalization and privacy-aware practices.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in data engineering, including 3–5 years leading high-performing teams in digital commerce or consumer analytics environments.
  • •Experience in software development with CI/CD, testing, operations, and setting up on-call rotation and observability.
  • •Deep technical expertise in cloud-native data platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and big data frameworks (Spark, Kafka/pub-sub).
  • •Proven experience building and scaling clickstream pipelines and digital data infrastructure, including tools like Segment and Adobe/GA4.
  • •Experience with CDPs, identity resolution, privacy-aware data modeling, and data warehousing/ELT tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow/Kubeflow.
