Key Responsibilities

  • •Ingest, process, analyze, and QA/QC geospatial data from multiple sources (drone imagery, LiDAR, SAR, satellite data)
  • •Support development and deployment of AI/ML algorithms for geospatial data processing and analysis
  • •Build, manage, and query spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Oracle Spatial) to enable analytics and visualization
  • •Collaborate with AI, robotics, and ecology teams to integrate geospatial data into autonomous mapping, seeding, and monitoring systems
  • •Document data pipelines, workflows, and system components; stay up-to-date with GIS/geospatial best practices

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • •3+ years of experience in data analytics, geospatial data processing, or a related role
  • •Proficiency with GIS tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS
  • •Experience working with spatial databases
  • •Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and data visualization tools
