Build and run critical executive and hard-to-fill searches as an embedded retained search partner for the CEO and senior leaders. Own mandates end-to-end or partner with external search firms, shaping search strategy, calibrating candidates, and closing exceptional hires. Create market maps and talent intelligence, develop long-term relationships with top leaders, and help grow a search-style recruiting function from scratch in an in-person New York environment.

•Own the company’s most important and difficult hiring mandates across senior leaders and exceptional ICs.
•Partner directly with founders and hiring managers to define what exceptional looks like and shape hiring strategy.
•Build market maps and create differentiated search strategies, including identifying overlooked talent pools.
•Personally recruit, assess, and close candidates through outreach, relationship building, and rigorous evaluation.
•Lead and manage external search firms when needed, ensuring standards, urgency, and judgment are met.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 250,000 annually

•Desire to help build a search-style recruiting team from scratch.
