Job Summary

Operate presses and prepare parts to customer specifications for shipment. Inspect products for inconsistencies and abnormal appearance, perform routine machine maintenance, and read job specifications to adjust machines and manage material requirements. Notify supervisors of non-conforming product and communicate production issues with the next operator, including grinding parts or scrap as needed. Work in a production environment supporting quality and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate press, inspect parts, and prepare them for shipment per operator instructions.
•Inspect products for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance to ensure quality requirements are met.
•Notify the supervisor of non-conforming product and problems with machines or materials.
•Communicate production issues with the next press operator and grind parts/scrap as needed.
•Perform routine machine maintenance and assist other operators with machine setup and related tasks to meet deadlines.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or at least one month of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to be certified for both forklift and crane within 6 months of employment.

•Ability to work in hot, cold, and dusty environments.
•Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
