  • •Coordinate ideas and collaborate on solutions to community problems, integrating community and Canonical plans for maximum impact.
  • •Engage with the Ubuntu community through Discourse, Matrix, and conferences, representing community interests to Canonical teams.
  • •Lead complex, multi-disciplinary technical program efforts from conception through launch while supporting volunteer developers and their tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with developer tools and open source projects, with a clear public record of accomplishments such as talks, blog posts, GitHub, or X.
  • •Interest and experience with Ubuntu Linux (kernel or userspace) and/or topics like DevOps, software development, testing/QA, package management, and container technology.
  • •Experience working with open source communities and understanding the workflow of volunteer contributors.
  • •Experience in (technical) program management plus excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
