Job Summary

Join EquipmentShare as a Shop Technician (Mechanic) at the Hurricane, UT Advanced Solutions facility. You’ll diagnose and repair pump, power, and HVAC equipment, perform preventive maintenance, manage work orders with our T3 platform, and collaborate with technicians to service both customer and company-owned gear in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models.
•Determine root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly, enabling you to work smarter, not harder.
•Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
•Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
•Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).

Key Requirements

•Must own tools applicable to position.
•Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
•Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
•Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
•EPA 608 certification is preferred. If you do not already have the certification, you should be able to obtain it within 6-12 months of employment.
