Key Responsibilities

  • •Design SoMs, baseboards, and test boards for Harmattan AI compute platforms.
  • •Lead high-speed digital design around application processors, including layout constraints and signal integrity for interfaces like PCIe, 10 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.x, and MIPI.
  • •Own power design including power trees, sequencing, conversion topologies, and verification of power-up/power-down behavior.
  • •Prepare and lead design reviews at each milestone, from block diagram to release for fabrication.
  • •Define verification test plans, troubleshoot and characterize boards, and run thermal, vibration, EMC, and ESD qualification; coordinate with PCB/EMS partners.

Key Requirements

  • •MSc in electrical, computer, or related engineering (PhD is a plus), with strong hands-on design and bring-up experience.
  • •5+ years in embedded hardware design, taking boards from specification through bring-up and qualification into production.
  • •Expertise in high-speed design (layout constraints, signal integrity, validation) and systems using processors with external memory such as DDR and Flash.
  • •Knowledge of power-tree design, sequencing, and conversion topologies, including verified power-up and power-down behavior.
  • •In-depth use of electronic CAD tools (e.g., Altium) and proficiency planning/test experience for thermal, vibration, EMC, and ESD qualification.
