  • •Optimize and validate HVAC equipment selection, including size, configuration, voltage, and options by reviewing plans and specifications.
  • •Evaluate cost savings and potential cost issues across projects, and validate project scope and equipment quantities/configurations.
  • •Prepare and support equipment submittals (preliminary and final) and participate in equipment job cost consensus and submittal release.
  • •Negotiate with vendors to maintain competitive advantage and optimize expenses; verify equipment pricing and reconcile job costs for order entry.
  • •Provide post-order technical support for equipment installation process, startup, warranty service, and required controls equipment functions.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent education and HVAC experience.
  • •Minimum two (2) years of HVAC industry experience performing project management or estimating roles.
  • •Or minimum five (5) years of HVAC industry experience performing project management or estimating roles.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls (preferred).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
