  • •Maintain and repair physical structures of buildings and equipment, including grounds/roads and the farm vehicle fleet.
  • •Run weekly generator tests and complete preventive maintenance programs for farm vehicles and equipment.
  • •Adjust and repair functional parts and control instruments; monitor propane levels, water usage, and formaldehyde levels.
  • •Coordinate major repairs with external vendors and handle purchasing tasks including creating/receiving PO’s in Control Pay System.
  • •Install electrical wiring and lighting fixtures; perform additional assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintain and repair physical structures of building and equipment, including farm vehicles and machinery.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance, house PMs prior to flock placements, and report machinery defects/malfunctions to management.
  • •Connect electrical wiring and install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, wall boxes, and terminal boards.
  • •Maintain required respirator certification through annual testing and follow biosecurity/animal welfare/safety requirements on a biosecure jobsite.
