Key Responsibilities

•Manage the revenue recognition process from contract negotiation to financial statement disclosure.
•Partner with Legal and Sales to optimize contractual structures while ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies.
•Document accounting conclusions in technical memos in accordance with GAAP and policies.
•Drive revenue close by creating/validating accruals, journals, and reconciliations; develop standard reports.
•Provide technical guidance and training to Finance, Legal, and Business Development/Sales teams; collaborate with internal/external auditors on GAAP adherence.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience applying ASC 606, specifically to enterprise software-as-a-service.
•5+ years’ experience within a large public accounting firm and/or a small to mid-sized enterprise software company.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or related field.
•Proficiency with NetSuite and/or other revenue recognition accounting systems. (CPA or ACCA/ACA preferred but not required)
