Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle from initial RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and active participation in POCs.
  • •Understand and interpret customer technical requirements to build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
  • •Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer(s) and partners in collaboration with your sales partner.
  • •Improve knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions and maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and evolving threats.
  • •Position Fortinet solutions to customers through remote or in-person communication, including whiteboarding and technical documents; manage multiple deals and maintain CRM technical data.

Key Requirements

  • •High aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN and WAN; CISSP is beneficial.
  • •Experience (current or previous) in a pre-sales engineer role managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
  • •Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills and how they contributed to key wins.
  • •Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical information to external and internal stakeholders.
  • •Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewalls, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
