Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and review financial statements according to applicable accounting standards, ensuring delivery within strict timelines.
  • •Enable audit/review processes by maintaining internal controls, implementing audit points, and following standard operating procedures, checklists, and controls.
  • •Identify and reduce manual processes, support technology upgrades, and lead user acceptance testing when required.
  • •Monitor securities services client service level agreements, update daily management information system trackers, and escalate delays/issues appropriately.
  • •Produce regular internal management reports and KPIs, raise operational risks, and participate in projects to improve delivery quality and timeliness.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of relevant funds administration experience with strong knowledge of asset types, valuations cycle, financial instruments, corporate actions, and fund accounting concepts.
  • •Sound understanding of valuations and end-to-end fund accounting model, including custody/brokerage/depository activities and reconciliations.
  • •Strong accounting concepts and ability to prepare financial statements in line with applicable standards (IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP) and meet strict timelines.
  • •Professional qualification in accounting fields (e.g., CA, ICWA, CFA, CS) is preferred/good to have, with relevant working experience.
  • •Strong Excel and Word skills; knowledge of cash reconciliation and data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) is an added advantage.
