Job Summary

Diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to CarMax safety and quality standards in a clean, climate-controlled shop. Perform services from basic maintenance through mechanical and electrical repairs, complete multi-point inspections, and document findings. Assist with alignment, suspension, and performance diagnostics while collaborating with teammates to meet production goals and maintain EH&S compliance and a clean workspace.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax standards, aligned to experience level.
•Perform automotive services ranging from routine maintenance to complex mechanical and electrical repairs.
•Complete multi-point inspections and document findings and completed work.
•Repair or replace vehicle components such as trim, seals, and panels to support reconditioning.
•Assist with alignment, suspension, and performance diagnostics and maintain EH&S compliance while keeping the work area clean.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20.2 - 35.4 hourly

Key Requirements

•Basic to intermediate automotive repair experience across engines, brakes, suspension, or HVAC systems.
•Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and compliance standards.
•Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

•Valid driver’s license required.
