Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad and controller, then integrate keypad communications with telematics systems.
  • •Handle a range of installation scenarios, including complex custom wiring harness work when accessing the CAN network.
  • •Travel to client sites and EquipmentShare rental yards; serve as an advocate for the EquipmentShare platform/brand while in the field.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and strong hands/tools skills, with willingness to learn.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) or mobile electronics/automotive electronics/12V technician experience.
  • •Own tools (a few specialty tools provided).
  • •Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and 10-panel drug screen; open to travel within a 250 mile radius and meet physical requirements.
