Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze inventory shrink results and partner with Retail Operations and store leadership to develop loss-reduction strategies addressing theft, fraud, and operational errors.
  • •Conduct risk and site-vulnerability assessments, manage physical-security standards and systems (cameras, alarms, access controls, safes/locks), and recommend enhancements based on incident history and store environment.
  • •Proactively investigate internal and external theft, fraud, organized retail crime, cash loss, and integrity concerns, ensuring investigations are prompt, objective, confidential, and compliant.
  • •Respond to and coordinate incidents and crisis situations (e.g., workplace violence, threats, vandalism, robbery/burglary), and support follow-up corrective and preventive actions.
  • •Use data/reporting tools and AI-enabled methods to detect patterns and anomalies, prepare regular Asset Protection summaries, coach store teams, and deliver training for openings and existing locations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or comparable combination of education and professional experience in retail Asset Protection, loss prevention, investigations, law enforcement, private security, risk management, or related discipline.
  • •Minimum of five years of multi-unit, field-based Asset Protection or loss-prevention experience.
  • •Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience supporting multiple locations.
  • •Demonstrated experience conducting internal and external theft, fraud, and integrity investigations.
  • •Proficiency using Asset Protection applications and analytical tools (including CCTV platforms, POS reporting, RFID, and case-management tools) and the ability to use AI-enabled technology responsibly.
