Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the metrics and data products needed to support risk as a product offering and ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
  • •Design and maintain metrics, pipelines, and data infrastructure to ensure accuracy, documentation, and scalable insights.
  • •Evolve Stripe’s risk experimentation strategy by defining what to test, how to measure, and how to learn from results across diverse merchant populations.
  • •Partner with Product, Engineering, and Risk leadership to ensure data investments support product goals and drive impact.
  • •Mentor and raise the bar for Data Analysts by setting standards, guiding framing of problems, and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in Data Analytics, Data Science, or related roles.
  • •Track record of defining and driving data strategy across multiple teams, not just executing on a roadmap, but shaping it.
  • •Deep expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python.
  • •Experience designing metrics, data products, and analytical frameworks at scale for risk decisioning.
  • •Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches and communicate findings to executive stakeholders.
