Job Summary

Join the TikTok Shop Content Data Science team to improve user experience and transaction conversion for shoppable content. You’ll analyze user discovery and interaction behaviors, build scalable metrics and data tools, and use experimentation to optimize content formats and distribution strategies. Partner with Product, Operations, Recommendation, and Engineering teams to set growth goals, diagnose anomalies, run causal inference and A/B tests, and quantify the impact of optimization plans on key business metrics.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead data analysis for TikTok Shop shoppable content and user growth, providing analytical capabilities to the business.
•Understand business drivers, support growth goal setting, decompose achievement paths, and implement process monitoring and early warning measures.
•Identify factors behind business growth, diagnose growth issues, investigate and attribute data anomalies, and build automated anomaly attribution tools.
•Conduct special analyses on critical issues, propose data-driven optimization suggestions, and quantify improvements.
•Partner with product R&D, data, and algorithm teams to iterate strategy using data mining, causal inference, A/B testing, and other methods to boost key business metrics.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields with 5+ years of work experience.
•Proficiency in statistical analysis tools including SQL, Python, and R.
•Apply analytical methods such as regression, classification, clustering, machine learning, A/B testing, and causal inference.
•Excellent communication and logical thinking with structured problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
•Strong organizational and collaboration skills, with a self-motivated and resilient work style.
