Key Responsibilities

  • •Build the CGSE team and lab in Shenzhen from scratch, including validation infrastructure and engineering best practices.
  • •Serve as the key technical bridge between AMD Shanghai engineering teams and Shenzhen partners to align strategy, training plan, execution culture, and priorities.
  • •Engage with ODM/OEM partners and ecosystem suppliers to accelerate platform development, technology adoption, issue resolution, and parts qualification.
  • •Drive cross-functional technical discussions, risk assessment, root-cause analysis, and debug closure across hardware, firmware, validation, and operations teams.
  • •Conduct design reviews (architecture, schematic, layout, integration, platform readiness) and mentor engineers to foster technical excellence and innovation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •15+ years of experience in PC/notebook hardware design and development, including 10+ years in management.
  • •Proven track record leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivering products from concept through volume production.
  • •Strong technical breadth/depth in areas such as memory sub-system validation, system-level validation, motherboard design, or low-power system design.
  • •Strong understanding of PC/notebook system architecture and hardware domains including power delivery, SI/PI, EMC, thermal/mechanical, and RF.
