Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport vehicles, equipment, and Class IX materiel.
  • •Support equipment turn-in by hauling assets from Army units to the site or designated locations.
  • •Perform PMCS before, during, and after operations and coordinate repairs for deficiencies.
  • •Complete shipping and transport documentation and maintain driver logs, trip tickets, fuel records, and inspection sheets.
  • •Adhere to DOT/OSHA/Army safety, secure loads properly, safeguard government property, and report accidents or discrepancies immediately.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL – Class A or B as required).
  • •3–5 years of heavy truck driving experience; prior Army or contractor logistics experience preferred.
  • •Must have a Real ID.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and obtain Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
  • •DOT/FMCSA safety knowledge and familiarity with Army transportation regulations and required movement documentation.
