Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee collecting, compiling, and analyzing site and design data (surveys, blueprints, GIS, subsurface utilities, maps, hydrologic and geotechnical information) for development, design, and construction.
  • •Apply advanced structural/civil engineering techniques across project phases from concept development through operation.
  • •Lead larger-scale structural engineering projects, including guidance for contributors, budgets, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors and contract work.
  • •Develop construction plans/specifications and cost estimates, including safety and phasing plans and updates to infrastructure layout plans with coordination across owners and disciplines.
  • •Ensure compliance through engineering review of permits/design plans and periodic inspections; prepare technical reports/presentations and mentor staff; support business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering, including structural or civil design experience.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Highly proficient with structural engineering principles, infrastructure planning/design, and project/construction management across rehabilitation, reconstruction, and new design.
  • •Proficiency with structural/civil design software and strong ability to perform complex technical computations, inspections/investigations, and technical writing/deliverables.
