Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the craft layer of the React Native mobile experience with fluid, gesture-driven interactions and native-feeling transitions.
  • •Push React Native beyond defaults by using Reanimated, Skia, and bridging when necessary.
  • •Collaborate with product designers to elevate motion and interaction design from concept to implementation.
  • •Establish animation primitives and interaction patterns within the design system that set the quality floor for the team.
  • •Mentor engineers on interaction quality and raise the standard for what done looks like across the mobile org.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong, demonstrable experience building polished mobile interfaces in React Native with expertise in Reanimated and gesture handling
  • •Ability to profile and optimize performance (JS thread vs UI thread) and to work on lower-end Android devices
  • •A portfolio or demo reel of shipped work is a hard requirement
  • •Experience with modern AI development tooling (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) as part of the build process
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
