Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain an understanding of hazardous waste management requirements and apply them to site operations.
  • •Identify, classify, and characterize hazardous wastes generated at the site.
  • •Manage Satellite Accumulation Areas (SAAs) and ensure transfer personnel move containers to the Central Accumulation Area (CAA) per requirements.
  • •Support weekly inspections of Central Accumulation Areas and help track and verify corrective actions for identified deficiencies.
  • •Assist with coordinating waste shipments, perform pre-shipment container/drum inspections, and support contingency plan emergency response activities and notifications.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.5 - 17.71 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Maintain an understanding of hazardous waste management requirements and their application to site operations.
  • •Participate in the identification, classification, and characterization of wastes generated at the site.
  • •Ability to work overtime.
  • •Strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain trade secrets and confidentiality.
