Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and underwrite new business, renewals, and policy changes within agreed frameworks and delegated authority.
  • •Apply underwriting criteria consistently, referring or escalating matters to senior underwriting specialists when required.
  • •Build broader multi-line underwriting capability across Property, Liability, Motor, Financial Lines, and Accident & Health.
  • •Act as a trusted day-to-day contact for Aon, delivering timely and accurate responses to broker enquiries.
  • •Review and process risk and policy information, managing endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and other policy adjustments accurately and efficiently.

Key Requirements

  • •Exposure to Property, Liability, Motor or broader General Insurance underwriting (open to Assistant Underwriters ready to progress).

  • •Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes while managing multiple priorities.
  • •Ability to identify matters requiring further review and engage the appropriate underwriting specialist.
