Senior Application Security Sales Engineer for Benelux, joining Thales’ remote Netherlands team to support the Application Security portfolio across the Benelux region. You will demonstrate technical pre-sales expertise, deliver product demos, drive revenue through customer-centric selling, and collaborate with regional managers, partners, and distributors to secure opportunities and educate on Thales’ security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide product demonstrations in person and remotely, and work with prospects at both technical and business levels to show how Thales’ Application Security solutions deliver value.
•Demonstrate customer-centric selling and a proven track record in driving revenue.
•Ensure successful on-site product evaluations when necessary.
•Manage the Regional Strategic Partner Engineering community and address technical needs.
•Create content and activities to drive demand, such as webinars, articles, posts, etc.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in network security, development, pre-sales engineering, or real world use of web application solutions; preferably with 5+ of these as a sales engineer and experience working in a start-up and vendor environment
•Excellent listening, presentation, demonstration, written, and oral communication skills
•Solid understanding of web applications, security, and auditing environments
•Knowledge about APIs, REST, SOAP
•Experience with public cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
