Key Responsibilities

  • •Utilise Mine Planned to develop short and medium term mine plans.
  • •Coordinate the PTM process on site and align mine schedules with the Integrated Planning team.
  • •Develop operational work instructions, break down medium- and long-term plans into task-based outcomes, and provide updates to operational and engineering teams.
  • •Manage and coordinate project groups as required, assisting the Superintendent in delivering technical projects within scope and quality standards.
  • •Conduct frequent underground inspections and collect technical performance metrics from supervisors, reports, and monitoring plans, collaborating cross-functionally to support continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated experience as a Supervisor / Coordinator or Senior Mining Engineer within a Technical Services team.
  • •Demonstrated experience working in underground mining, preferably coal.
  • •Degree qualified in Engineering or a related field.
  • •Experience with AutoCAD, XPAC/MinePlanner, VentSim, and Microsoft Suite.
  • •Ability to interpret and apply written plans and schedules with some exposure to mine planning.
