Job Summary

Lead the hedge accounting process for fixed income and FX portfolios within Markets Treasury, overseeing fair value and cash flow hedging activities under IAS 39 and FAS 133. Manage hedge effectiveness monitoring, testing, documentation, and daily/weekly/monthly analysis of hedging results with P&L explain and commentary. Coordinate stakeholders across Product Control and Finance and manage a near-shore support team while supporting key Finance and Markets Treasury projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage, oversee and coordinate hedge accounting in accordance with IAS 39 and FAS 133 for fair value and cash flow hedging activities.
•Monitor and test hedge effectiveness on existing deals and manage hedge accounting documentation, including initial hedge testing.
•Perform daily/weekly/monthly analysis of hedging results with P&L explain and commentary and review monthly portfolio commentary.
•Manage and guide team members; recognize and promote talent and coordinate a near-shore support team.
•Support and investigate new or proposed hedging strategies and participate in selected projects within Finance and Markets Treasury.

Key Requirements

•Support ongoing monitoring and testing of hedge effectiveness for existing deals.

•Demonstrate strong knowledge of interest rate and FX products, including controls and reconciliations.
•Minimum BS in Finance/Accounting; CPA or MBA with accounting concentration preferred (CFA also desirable).
