Key Responsibilities

  • •Stand up the engineering organization in a Rabat site that is still opening, reaching full staffing without lowering the bar.
  • •Deliver against a fixed milestone calendar with an operating cadence tied to the program rather than generic quarterly rhythm.
  • •Own the full technical chain across airframe, propulsion, avionics, launcher, and ground segment through flight test and trials locally.
  • •Manage and mentor people, including managers and leadership layer, and run design and programme reviews across five disciplines.
  • •Develop the local supplier base and own the evidence and milestone relationship end to end with stakeholders and the customer.

Key Requirements

  • •MSc in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or a strongly related engineering field (or a track record of building organizations).
  • •Engineering leadership experience managing managers, with at least four direct reports who were themselves leads.
  • •10+ years experience with at least 4 years in engineering management, including standing up or materially scaling an engineering site in-house.
  • •Proven hardware delivery through qualification into series production against fixed contractual milestones, ideally for a defense customer; experience with UAV, autonomous systems, or advanced robotics.
  • •Remain credible across multiple disciplines and take written technical positions on cross-module questions.
