Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop cost-effective, efficient and innovative C&I solutions to complex problems to create practical designs.
  • •Deliver projects across feasibility, concept, FEED, value engineering and detailed design stages.
  • •Prepare and develop C&I deliverables such as design basis philosophies, system specifications, architecture diagrams, datasheets, instrument schedules, instrument index, block diagrams, control room layouts, cable schedules, cable block diagrams and MTOs.
  • •Collaborate with equipment vendors on designing packages and participate in technical evaluations of vendor designs.
  • •Develop proposals and bids for EC&I discipline and contribute to multi-disciplinary proposals; provide technical leadership and governance.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in relevant Engineering subject with post graduate experience in C&I design.
  • •Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and a member of a relevant Engineering Institute.
  • •The ability and desire to assume a lead role in the development of C&I deliverables.
  • •Knowledge of design and construction of power and energy projects.
  • •Proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents, design concepts and experience producing calculations.
