Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose and operate core server/cluster components by investigating compute/storage hardware issues and interconnect problems, then restoring service after safe interventions.
  • •Apply safety procedures (LOTO and ESD) and follow pre/post-work checklists while maintaining tidy, safe work areas.
  • •Perform first-line diagnostics (LEDs, POST, beep codes, basic tests), capture evidence (photos, serials, results), and manage tickets with clear notes.
  • •Support preventive maintenance by improving proactive activities, monitoring, and follow-ups on recurring anomalies and helping turn checks into SOPs/alerts/dashboards.
  • •Handle parts and logistics, including receiving and tracking inventory, managing simple RMAs, coordinating with vendors, and keeping SOPs/checklists and audit-ready records current.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience with datacenter/server hardware, including installing, reseating, and swapping components such as GPU/PCIe cards, NICs, PSUs, and drives.
  • •Strong Linux fundamentals (boot/check and logs) and willingness to learn hardware (scripting experience is a plus).
  • •Ability to work safely and meticulously using ESD/lockout/tagout (LOTO) and follow pre/post-work checklists.
  • •Basic electrical understanding (power-off, PPE, short-circuit risk awareness) and comfort working in racks (cooling, network, storage, PDU, cable management).
  • •Clear communication skills for concise factual updates and reliable, punctual, process-minded teamwork.
