Key Responsibilities

•Produce internal reports on public perception and identified risks to inform mitigation initiatives and cross-functional solutions.
•Craft risk prevention process and strategy for the Japan market, focusing on safety issues such as youth safety, hate, and cyber bullying.
•Coordinate with cross-functional partners to identify, assess, and resolve safety-related gaps in products and improve community well-being.
•Drive initiatives across multiple features (e.g., Video, Live, comments, follow/like, accounts) using qualitative and quantitative approaches to detect risks.
•Initiate and manage project definition, scoping, implementation, and execution with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Strong understanding of User Generated Content (UGC) social platforms and the regional political, regulatory, and cultural landscape in North East Asia.
•High oral and written proficiency in Japanese for Japanese-speaking markets.
•Strong knowledge of Trust and Safety issues, operations, and challenges.
•Program/project or product management experience, ideally in a safety/risk control/anti-spam strategy environment.
•Comfort working with large volumes of data and performing in-depth analysis and reporting (e.g., Excel Pivot tables, functions, charts); SQL is a bonus.
