Job Summary

Lead application architecture for ASP Markets with an end-to-end perspective, including support for legacy application demise, technical solution design using HSBC platforms, and guidance on core banking systems. Key Responsibilities

•Focus on application architecture with an end-to-end perspective for ASP Markets.
•Support the application demise program for local legacy applications and help balance upgrades with regulatory/funding constraints.
•Prepare technical solution designs aligned to strategic patterns using HSBC platforms.
•Collaborate with BGI, compliance teams, regulators, and AME transformation teams to address regulatory requirements and respond to inquiries.
•Manage engagement for system evergreen initiatives and infrastructure upgrades (including notebooks, firewalls, servers, and local infrastructure) while improving technical resilience.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, or related fields.
•10+ years architecting and designing enterprise-level solutions with end-to-end application architecture expertise.
•Strong understanding of core banking systems and integration with local operations and business needs.
•Experience managing system evergreen initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and KCI processes, including application demise programs for legacy systems.
•Knowledge of cloud governance practices and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Alicloud) with strong collaboration across compliance, regulators, and transformation teams.
