Key Responsibilities

  • •Support IBM mainframe networks and transmissions products and infrastructure as part of a multi-functional team.
  • •Configure and maintain host communication subsystems, including TCP/IP Port Reserves and VTAM updates (additions, deletions, changes).
  • •Manage OSA adapters and perform VTAM PU/LU updates, including Enterprise Extenders (EE), in a complex mainframe environment.
  • •Implement AT-TLS rules and configure/manage IPsec policies for permit/deny rules and VPN ipsec tunnels.
  • •Provide 24x7 coverage via a support rota and communicate with technical and operational staff to ensure network connectivity and security.
