Key Responsibilities

  • •Own financial strategy and capital planning, including cash flow, runway, and forecasting frameworks that support disciplined investment decisions.
  • •Drive FP&A and planning: budgeting, long-range planning, recurring forecasting, and driver-based financial models for key business metrics.
  • •Own payments and fintech economics analysis, forecasting revenue streams, unit economics, and partner/merchant profitability and cohort performance.
  • •Direct treasury and settlement operations across payment rails, owning liquidity management and coordinating with compliance and payments teams on requirements.
  • •Oversee accounting and financial operations (monthly close, AP/AR, controls), manage audits and external relationships, and build/scale the finance function.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in finance, FP&A, investment banking, strategic finance, or related work, including exposure to accounting/controllership fundamentals.
  • •Experience scaling an early-stage venture-backed startup (ideally as a founding or first finance hire) through multiple growth stages.
  • •Hands-on ownership of fundraising processes, including data rooms, diligence, investor materials, and board reporting.
  • •Exceptional financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
