Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, draft, and negotiate enterprise commercial agreements including MSAs, SLAs, and DPAs.
  • •Own US data privacy matters, including negotiating data processing terms and advising on applicable state and international privacy laws and cross-border transfers.
  • •Manage high-volume enterprise contract workflows, triaging to help sales prioritize negotiations and unblock deals.
  • •Develop playbooks and fallback positions for common enterprise negotiation scenarios to accelerate deal cycles.
  • •Partner with product, engineering, and security to advise on legal and compliance implications of new features, especially data handling, AI capabilities, and user privacy.

Key Requirements

  • •Licensed attorney admitted to practice in any US state, with strong top law firm training or relevant in-house experience, and at least 3 years’ experience as a practising attorney.
  • •Negotiated and closed complex, high-volume enterprise SaaS agreements.
  • •Experience owning customer relationships and deal strategy independently, with comfort managing negotiations without constant escalation.
  • •Demonstrable experience with international compliance frameworks including GDPR, SCCs, and DPAs, including advising on cross-border data transfer issues.
  • •Experience thriving in fast-moving environments by managing competing priorities and making sound judgment calls under pressure.
