Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pipe fabrication welds, in-service welds, tie-in welds, and hot taps on steel pipelines up to 42" O.D.
  • •Mobilize, operate, and maintain heavy excavation equipment and support excavation spotter tasks and foreign pipeline crossing excavation.
  • •Read and interpret engineering construction blueprints; scope, plan, estimate, track costs, and schedule work and resources.
  • •Operate trucks, welding rigs, and trailers to transport equipment/materials to job sites.
  • •Conduct pipeline coating inspection/preparation, calibrate holiday detectors, perform ultrasonic thickness examinations, run pressure tests, and support pig launching/receiving and internal cleaning/pigging operations.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • •Intermediate or above welding skill level with at least 2 years of relatable experience.
  • •Ability to read blueprints and other construction documentation.
  • •Ability to use various power and hand tools and demonstrate competency in math.
  • •Must pass API 1104 qualifying weld tests (Multiple Qualification Test and Appendix B In Service Low Hydrogen Welding Test within 60 days; Low Hydrogen Multiple Qualification Welding Test within 180 days), with annual requalification.
